Our Story
The story behind Travik.
Travik Chemicals was founded in 1974 and has been based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, since 1985. We began with cleaning products for the rail and hygiene industries, expanding into automotive, marine, industrial, agricultural and livestock applications.
Acquired by Aquajet Cleaning Equipment Ltd in November 2010, Travik now combines its chemical expertise with equipment and practical knowledge for using those products.
Our range runs from washing-up liquids and motor-trade cleaners to horse shampoos. Our experienced R&D team draws on thousands of formulations to develop bespoke cleaning products.
